Another Easter Treat

My little Noodlebug's Easter basket is going to be very full indeed! Just ordered this precious piece on Etsy from Bossy's Feltworks. It was hard to decide which one to get because there are so many wee lovelies there.

Find the Etsy shop here.

You will positively squeal with delight!

March Kit Done!!!

I just finished the March Jenni Bowlin kit and I'm happy with how it turned out. I love the wooden frame. It's so versatile. I look forward to buying more of that product. This particular piece will be going in Grandma's Easter basket!

Shhh....Don't Tell Noodle!!!!

When I saw Stephanie Congdon Barnes' latest Spring collectionn, I knew I had to splurge. I scored one of Stephanie's coveted pieces yesterday....a chocolate bunny for Noodle's Easter basket. Of course, this will not be a cuddle bunny. It will be a bunny that sits on a shelf in his room. One of his first collectible art pieces! I just love it! Stephanie is featured in the current issues of MOTHERING magazine and her current collection includes little birds, sheep and lions for Spring.

Spring Bunnies!!!

I'm so excited!!! I just ordered this wonderful Little Pink Studio kit! Isn't it adorable? Cerri comes up with the greatest projects!

The kit makes four bunnies and is available here. (hurry---her kits usually go quickly!) She also has another kit where you can make a delightful Spring journal.

Now, if I can just find some crafting time...

Lullaby for Baby

Isn't it fun to find a new blog and Etsy vendor? Well, I did both today.

First, I found Petit Elefant.

Then, I found this. You can get your favorite lullaby customized for your baby. Since I don't have nearly enough time with my Noodle, I make sure that I always sing him a lullaby at bedtime. Our favorite is Erin Ivey's "Dreamy Side of the Moon." Alma customized it for me and you can see the result above. Isn't it lovely? I can't wait to print it out on special paper and frame it!!!

Waiting is the Hardest Part

Sorry I haven't posted lately. I am waiting for the postman to bring me some new creative materials--namely Jenni Bowlin's March kit and two kits from Peacoats and Partyhats. I need to get to Michael's and buy some ribbon so I can make some Easter corsages but I haven't found the time yet. I am happy to report that I have done the first three creativity journal projects at Inspire Co. They are so fun!!! Amy Powers is brilliant. You have already seen my ribbon cake and I will post a photo of the next two soon.

One of my projects I hope to get around to soon is to scan a bunch of old family photos I have found. I'd love to use them in some of my art projects. I also want to buy some tags to try the 52 question project. So many ideas buzzing around in my brain and I lack the proper materials!!!

A Year of Questions

I recently found this great blog that is hosting a very special mini art challenge. The blogger is posting a new question each week and participants answer the question on a tag. They are currently nine tags in so I better get busy in order to catch up!!!

You can find all the questions here.

Where Do We Get These Names?

Sometimes he is my Spicy Italian Meatball.

Other times, he is my Moo Moo.

To his Daddy, he is Goober or Goobs or Goo Bear.

To his Grandmother, he is Sweet Baby or Baby Darlin'.

Mostly, he is my Noodle.

Aren't we the luckiest people in the world?
