Backyard Holiday Retreat

Okay, I have figured out what is going on the top of my wish list. I want a vintage holiday trailer. I have seen two posts recently about these little vintage retreats and now I am salivating for one. See one lovely caravan here and one here.

We rent our home and there isn't really a space just for me. I think this would make the perfect retreat. Not sure where I would park it but my husband is the property manager so I'm sure we could figure something out. I'm not really a girl for diamonds or fancy things but I love this little vintage hideaway!

Now, will someone tell my husband about this?

Hello Amy!

Thank you so much for coming by and visiting! My trailer is a 1957 Jewel (Jewel is the marker). I am part of a group called Sisters on the Fly! I am Sister #595. I know you will love looking at all the trailers! Go to

Sistersonthe Fly.com

I am posting from my other blog (The Beehive Cottage) where I just posted about my friends trailer. I have TONS of trailer pictures throughout my blog!

Hope you get one someday! They are a blast!!

Hugs,

What a cool idea! That would be a great project for a guy/husband to work on for his esposa (maybe for an anniversary gift). My brother told me that there are all kinds of vintage trailers that are abandoned in the fields of Kansas (not that it does you any good). I hope you can find one to make your own!
